Here Is Where Dodi Fayed Is Buried
History - Science
Following his death in the car accident that also killed Princess Diana, film producer Dodi Fayed was buried at Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey, England.
Fayed's father, Mohamed Al-Fayed, reportedly had chosen his son's plot at Brookwood but also
requested permission from the British Home Office to move the coffin.

Al-Fayed visited his son's grave almost every evening. Once he received permission, he moved it 25 miles to the Fayed Estate in another part of Surrey.
The family spokesperson stated, "The coffin was moved during the evening ... completed in privacy, and the coffin reinterred in a tranquil and beautiful part of the estate."
Initially, Al-Fayad buried his son near the main mansion of the Fayed Estate as he awaited additional planning permission to build what later became a mausoleum.
Before being buried, Dodi's private funeral was held at London Central Mosque. The ceremony was only 25 minutes. Amongst the attendees was Britain's Egyptian ambassador.
When Al-Fayad died in 2023, he was buried near his son in the impressive family mausoleum surrounded by lions and sphinxes for protection.
